The origin of this coat of arms is unknown. This coat of arms is discovered in 1960, by the late Dr. A.R. Kleyn of the “Historisch-Genealogisch en Heraldisch Archief” (Historical-Genealogical and Heraldic Archive) in Zeist, and presented as such to the family. Whether it is an authentic coat of arms, that was actually used by the family in ancient times, is not known. Because it is a unique coat of arms and already more than 50 years owned by the family, the coat of arms can be used right away by all descendants of Arnold Langemann (Macrander) (*1566-†1620), as long as they use the familyname.
